Signature Site is the result of multiple long-standing leaders coming together in 2023 to create a unified brand across Canada. Our DNA and our history begin in Western Canada in the 1990s and form the foundation of our current nationwide business.
In 1991, our co-founder, Chris Davies, recognized the need for quality lighting and sign repair services in British Columbia and founded Chris’s Sign Service, our predecessor company, in BC’s Lower Mainland.
It was as simple as buying a truck, knocking on the doors of some businesses in his neighbourhood, and building relationships, one by one, through outstanding customer service and high-quality work. Soon enough, there was enough demand that the footprint of the company had to grow. Over the next several years, the company grew significantly in the Vancouver and Lower Mainland area of BC, becoming a steady service provider for some of Canada’s largest companies.
By the early 2000s, the company had to add more services to its offering, including electrical services and commercial repairs and maintenance, to meet the needs of its customers and eventually expanded into Alberta, maintaining the commitment to customer service and quality that formed the foundation of its founding.
As demand grew and the organization continued expanding its operations, more cities and provinces were added to its coverage throughout the 2000s and 2010s.
In 2023, new ownership came in and invested significant capital, kickstarting a new era of growth and making Signature Site Services one of the nation’s leaders in providing contracting, electrical, lighting, and signage services.
Today, Signature Site Services works with businesses from British Columbia to Ontario. Our reputation as a trusted multi-trade service provider has us positioned to continue pushing the standard of what it means to be an industry-leading partner for our clients.
